Federico Andreotti

One painter to check out is the Florentine painter Federico Andreotti [1847-1930], his work is lush and alive--it's really enjoyable. Go here to see a ton of his paintings altogether with info. He does a lot of different types of clothes and time periods, which is really neat.

He's kind of like a unique neo-classist, his style is similar but he paints later centuries, say 1500-1900, instead of the ancient world of Rome, Greece, Egypt or the Middle East.
