Ilya Repin

Another great piece of art about Easter is Russian Ilya Repin's [1844-1930] painting "Easter [or religious] Procession in the Region of Kursk" [Крестный ход в Курской губернии.]. The icon housed in the little protective case they are carrying is the famous region piece "Our Lady of Kursk".
